Admissions Procedure

1) Applicants will be considered for a place at Hurtwood House when the application form and registration fee are received.

2) Places are subject to availability and the student satisfying the admissions requirements at the time. The criteria for admission are supplied prior to interview and are available on the school website, www.hurtwoodhouse.com.

3) If a place for the prospective student is not made available by the school, the registration fee will be returned to the parents in full.

4) If the school confirms a place for the student, £300 of the registration fee will be retained as a non-refundable confirmation fee and the balance of the registration fee will be held as a deposit in the general funds of the school and will be transferred to the Hurtwood House Foundation after deduction of any sums due to the school on leaving, unless the parents request the balance is repaid to them. Such requests should be in writing addressed to the Headmaster before the last day of December in the year the student leaves the school.

5) In the event of cancellation of a place which has been accepted, no part of the £1000 will be refundable.
